Backing up from his role as assistant league coach in 2016 Troy Holland will now step in to the role of Colts coach of the Bunbury Bulldogs for 2017.

Troy played more than 100 league games in the South West and Lower South West Football leagues before hanging up his boots to pursue career interests. For the past two seasons he has been assistant league coach involved with the promoting of youth to rebuilding the senior list at the Bunbury Football Club.

“I’m really looking forward to the role and working with the young guys we have coming through to help them make the transition from junior to senior football and ultimately establish themselves as senior footballers” said Troy.

 “The strength of the junior program at Bunbury has seen successive groups of really good young players come through these past 4-5 years and when I look at the performance of the upper grades of the junior club it’s clear that 2017 should be no different” said Troy

Many thanks on behalf of the board are extended to outgoing colts coach Brett Maguire for his 4 seasons in charge particularly the successful 2014 premiership season.
